Can an investor grant Turkish citizenship to more than one wife?

Every day, we receive many questions about property ownership, property investment in Turkey, and Turkish citizenship. Of course, we answer any inquiry, consultation, or request for property advice, whatever the question is, to communicate with our customers and followers permanently.
Among the interesting questions that we have received in recent days is whether there is the possibility of citizens having more than one wife for a property investor who bought a property in Turkey or wants to buy within the conditions of obtaining Turkish citizenship. The most important is that the property value is not less than 400 thousand dollars.
We note at the outset that Turkey launched in 2017 a program called "Investment in exchange for citizenship," after which several amendments have been issued, the latest of which was granting Turkish citizenship to three main categories:
1- The property investor:
The property investor has the right to apply for Turkish citizenship if he buys a property with at least 400 thousand dollars, provided that it is not selling for three years.
2- The bank investor:
This is done by depositing an amount of 500 thousand dollars in any Turkish bank, provided that there is no withdrawal for three years.
3- The general investor:
This method requires establishing a company, the employment of 50 Turkish workers, and the non-dismissal of any of them for no less than three years.
The government program also enabled the investor to naturalize his wife and children under the age of eighteen and to include their papers and identities in the investor's citizenship file. The wife's written consent was required to obtain Turkish citizenship for her and her children.
Is the investor entitled to grant Turkish citizenship to more than one wife?
Islamic law allows marriage to a maximum of 4 women. Many Arab men from several Arab countries are married to one, two, three, or four women. When they want to invest in Turkey to obtain Turkish citizenship, the first question that comes to their mind is the entitlement to grant citizenship Turkish for all their wives.
In Turkey, marriage laws differ. Because the number of males is equal to the number of females (the population of Turkey is close to 85 million people), the Turkish marriage law prohibits marriage with more than one wife.
And given that the investor will obtain Turkish citizenship, he will be a Turkish citizen for them and his family with the same rights and duties. That means Turkish law does not allow the naturalization of more than one wife.
What is the solution if the investor is married to more than one wife?
In this case, the Turkish authorities ask him to choose one of his wives and include her papers in his file for obtaining Turkish citizenship, along with the other documents. That is valid whether the investor is married to only two women or more.
Earlier, some exceptions were made, and more than one wife was naturalized. But the law re-emphasized the necessity of naturalizing one of the investor's wives.
The law on granting Turkish citizenship in return for investment resulted in the naturalization of about 18,000 investors with their wives and children under 18, from its launch in 2017 until the end of 2021. The law is still in force until investors of all nationalities allowed to own property can buy a property. He and his family obtain Turkish citizenship with no less than 400 thousand dollars.
